Lomelosia simplex subsp. dentata merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Caprifoliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika barat laut. Nama ilmiah Lomelosia simplex subsp. dentata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Claude Thomas Alexis Jordan pada tahun 1985.
