Lopezia trichota merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Onagraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Lopezia trichota pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Diederich Franz Leonhard von Schlechtendal pada tahun 1838.
