Lophogyne divertens merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Podostemaceae yang dapat tumbuh di media yang tergenang air (helofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Guianas. Nama ilmiah Lophogyne divertens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich August Ferdinand Christian Went pada tahun 2019.
