Lophopetalum multinervium adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Celastraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan Malesia barat. Di Indonesia tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan nama perupuk talang, pupu (Sumatra), atau bako (Kalimantan). Nama ilmiah Lophopetalum multinervium diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Henry Nicholas Ridley pada tahun 1931.
