Lophospermum scandens merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Plantaginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko tengah. Nama ilmiah Lophospermum scandens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis David Don pada tahun 1827.
