Loropetalum lanceum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Hamamelidaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah China (Guangxi selatan, Guizhou). Nama ilmiah Loropetalum lanceum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Heinrich Raphael Eduard Handel-Mazzetti pada tahun 1932.
