Lotononis sericophylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Afrika Selatan. Nama ilmiah Lotononis sericophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis George Bentham pada tahun 1843.
