Lotononis varia adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Lotononis varia diperkenalkan oleh Ernst Heinrich Friedrich Meyer pada tahun 1841.
