Lotus cruentus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Australia. Nama ilmiah Lotus cruentus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Arthur Bertram Court pada tahun 1957.
