Lotus dumetorum merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Kepulauan Kanaria (Tenerife selatan). Nama ilmiah Lotus dumetorum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Philip Barker Webb pada tahun 1897.
