Lotus glaucus merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Madeira hingga Selvagens. Nama ilmiah Lotus glaucus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis William Aiton pada tahun 1789.
