Lotus pedunculatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Macaronesia, Afrika utara, Eropa, hingga Türkiye. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan big trefoil. Nama ilmiah Lotus pedunculatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Antonio José Cavanilles pada tahun 1793.
