Lotus torulosus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Sudan timur laut hingga Somalia. Nama ilmiah Lotus torulosus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Emilio Chiovenda pada tahun 1912.
