Louisiella elephantipes adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Louisiella elephantipes diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 2014.
