Ludwigia brevipes merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Onagraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari New Jersey timur-tengah hingga Florida barat laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan long beach primrose-willow. Nama ilmiah Ludwigia brevipes pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bayard Henry Long pada tahun 1933.
