Ludwigia torulosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semak dari famili Onagraceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh di air (hidrofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Ludwigia torulosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama George Arnott Walker-Arnott pada tahun 1953.
