Luina serpentina merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Oregon. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan creeping silverback. Nama ilmiah Luina serpentina pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Arthur John Cronquist pada tahun 1955.
