Lupinus hintonii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko tengah dan barat daya. Nama ilmiah Lupinus hintonii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Charles Piper Smith pada tahun 1938.
