Lupinus mexicanus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim atau menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko. Nama ilmiah Lupinus mexicanus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Vicente de Cervantes pada tahun 1816.
