Luzula leptophylla merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Juncaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) di wilayah Selandia Baru. Nama ilmiah Luzula leptophylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Franz Georg Philipp Buchenau pada tahun 1898.
