Luzula orestera adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Juncaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah California (Sierra Nevada). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan sierra woodrush. Nama ilmiah Luzula orestera diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl William Sharsmith pada tahun 1958.
