Luzula tristachya merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Juncaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Chili tengah dan selatan. Nama ilmiah Luzula tristachya diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nicaise Auguste Desvaux pada tahun 1808.
