Lycianthes caucaensis merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kolombia (Valle del Cauca). Nama ilmiah Lycianthes caucaensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich August Georg Bitter pada tahun 1919.
