Lycium depressum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Mediterania timur hingga Asia tengah dan Pakistan. Nama ilmiah Lycium depressum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Ellerton Stocks pada tahun 1852.
