AMERICAN WATER HOREH Lycopusamericanus Muhl. ex W.P.C.Barton
Lycopus americanus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada hingga Amerika Serikat. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan american water horehound. Nama ilmiah Lycopus americanus diperkenalkan oleh Gotthilf Heinrich Ernst Muhlenberg pada tahun 1815.
