Lycopus uniflorus merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Rusia Timur Jauh hingga Korea, Jepang, Amerika Utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan northern bugleweed. Nama ilmiah Lycopus uniflorus diperkenalkan oleh André Michaux pada tahun 1803.
