Lyginia excelsa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Restionaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia barat daya. Nama ilmiah Lyginia excelsa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Barbara Gillian Briggs pada tahun 2000.
