Lyonia elliptica merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kuba timur. Nama ilmiah Lyonia elliptica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Kunkel Small pada tahun 1956.
