Macairea rigida merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang Venezuela (Amazonas) hingga Brazil. Nama ilmiah Macairea rigida diperkenalkan oleh George Bentham pada tahun 1840.
