Macaranga inermis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Euphorbiaceae (suku kastuba-kastubaan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sulawesi ?, Maluku ?, Papua, Kepulauan Bismarck (New Britain), Queensland. Nama ilmiah Macaranga inermis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ferdinand Albin Pax pada tahun 1914.
