Machilus monticola adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Hainan. Nama ilmiah Machilus monticola pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Shu Kang Lee pada tahun 1963.
