Macrocarpaea glabra merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Gentianaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kolombia. Nama ilmiah Macrocarpaea glabra pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Linnaeus the Younger pada tahun 1895.
