Macrolobium limbatum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Macrolobium limbatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Richard Spruce pada tahun 1870.
