Macropsychanthus comosus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan) yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko tenggara, kawasan tropis Amerika, barat, hingga kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Macropsychanthus comosus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Georg Friedrich Wilhelm Meyer pada tahun 2020.
