Macroptilium bracteatum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Peru hingga Brazil dan Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Macroptilium bracteatum diperkenalkan oleh Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1974.
