Macroptilium gracile adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko barat daya hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Nama ilmiah Macroptilium gracile diperkenalkan oleh Eduard Friedrich Poeppig pada tahun 1928.
