Macrothelypteris torresiana adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Samudera Hindia bagian barat, wilayah Asia tropis, subtropis, hingga Pasifik. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan swordfern. Nama ilmiah Macrothelypteris torresiana pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Gaudichaud-Beaupré pada tahun 1963.
