Macrotorus utriculatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Monimiaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil (Espírito Santo hingga São Paulo). Nama ilmiah Macrotorus utriculatus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius pada tahun 1898.
