Madia anomala adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari California. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan plumpseeded madia. Nama ilmiah Madia anomala pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1885.
