Maerua triphylla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Capparaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Ethiopia hingga kawasan tropis Afrika timur-tengah, Komoro, Aldabra, Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Maerua triphylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Achille Richard pada tahun 1848.
