Maesa dubia merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Primulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah India. Nama ilmiah Maesa dubia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Nathaniel Wallich pada tahun 1834.
