Maesa grandifolia merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Primulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Jawa. Nama ilmiah Maesa grandifolia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1859.
