Maesa hupehensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Primulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Sichuan, Hubei). Nama ilmiah Maesa hupehensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alfred Rehder pada tahun 1916.
