Maesa leptobotrya merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Primulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Malaya. Nama ilmiah Maesa leptobotrya pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Henry Fletcher Hance pada tahun 1862.
