Maesa macrocarpa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Primulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Kalimantan. Nama ilmiah Maesa macrocarpa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Rudolph Herman Christiaan Carel Scheffer pada tahun 1867.
