Maesa maxima merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Primulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Assam. Nama ilmiah Maesa maxima pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Baron Clarke pada tahun 1902.
