Maesa rheophytica merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Primulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Maesa rheophytica diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Hermann Otto Sleumer pada tahun 1987.
