Maesa ruficaulis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Primulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua barat daya. Nama ilmiah Maesa ruficaulis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Spencer Le Marchant Moore pada tahun 1916.
