Maesa tetrandra merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Primulaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Sulawesi hingga Papua. Nama ilmiah Maesa tetrandra diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama William Roxburgh pada tahun 1844.
