Magnolia officinalis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Magnoliaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China. Nama ilmiah Magnolia officinalis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Alfred Rehder pada tahun 1913.
